Conduct of meetings
Longhorsley Parish Council aims to make its meetings:
- efficient and business like
- fair to all participants
- effective in relation to the issues being tackled
- not so formal as to be pompous or stuffy
- good humoured
The Chairman if present shall preside. If not, the vice-chairman. If both are absent those present shall elect a member to preside. A quorum is three members or a third or the council’s membership, whichever is the greater.
Some Parish Councils include party political groupings but Longhorsley does not.
